Why Too Much Sugar Is Bad For You

Sugar provides a sweet taste in your food. In drinks, Dairy products and other things like cake contain sugar which can do bad effects on your health. Eating sugar is healthy if you eat in a limit but in high quantity, it can harm you. We just focus on tastes and ignore the nutrition value. This is important that we understand the effects of sugar on a diet. There are some cons of high sugar intake in a body which are described below:

Cavity Issue

The main disadvantage of too much sugar is that your teeth can get cavities. This is the main reason that the dentist also advises patients to take no-sugar drinks or food. After eating sugary food, these sugar molecules can combine with saliva & bacteria present in the mouth and can decay your teeth. This combination also can react with enamel which can cause cavities. To avoid cavities, you need to do brush daily.

Extra consumption of sugar can increase blood sugar. There are many fatty products which can increase your weight like cheese, cream, butter, etc. Manufacturers add sugars for making the flavors. If you want to take fat then take from natural sources. Avoid trans-fat because it is made in a laboratory and can cause bad effects on your health. You can take a fat-free diet if want to stay fit. There are also many products come in the market which is sugar-free and can help you in losing weight.

This is another benefit as a high intake of sugar can cause heart diseases. Researches prove that beverages containing sugar can increase blood pressure which is bad for your health. Large quantity fat products also can block the arteries.

For Male: Avoid more than 9 teaspoons or no more than 150 calories

For Female: Maximum 6 teaspoon or no more than 100 calories from sugar

If you follow the above procedure then you will be more fit and healthy. You should focus on natural sugar products and avoid trans-fat and added sugars.
