6 reasons why your child lose interest in studying?
Parents always concern about their children’s study schedule. They keep telling their kids that study is very important for the future and for getting good jobs, a well-scheduled study is very crucial. There are mainly six reasons that your children lose interest in studies:
- Fear of failure
This is the major reason that children show a lack of interest in studies. They become demotivated or unconfident when they face the pressure of performing better. This pressure scares them of failures and meanwhile, they start to lose interest in studying.
- Learning difficulties
Dyslexia is also an issue for some children and because of this problem, a child getting much difficulty in learning new words. When teachers and parents start to call dyslexia child “lazy” or “slow” then that child loses his confidence and start to avoid studies.
- Distractions
Nowadays, children are easily getting distracted because of games and smartphones. This is the biggest headache for parents. Kids can also be spoiled because of overexposure to phones and video-games.
- Boring study
In some schools, the study is very boring or not creative enough to create interest in studies in students. Non-challenging study environment can make children weaker in the study. It is important that teachers find new ways of education.
- Bullying
Because of bullying, many children lose confidence in studies and become depressed. Now, many schools are strict about bullying issues. Some kids absent from classes because of fear of bullying.
- Difficult syllabus
The difficult syllabus also creates a problem for children as this can enhances anxiety in students and in some cases, children become hopeless and demotivated and avoid study because of fear of tough syllabus.
